A Southern Family Cookbook at the Turn of the Millenium is a 173 page recipe collection from Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas A few recipes come from Colorado, Florida, and Ohio, because the authors of those recipes are from those states. Kathryn has used these recipes for entertaining and nightly menus for many years, so all are family and friendship tested.

Of particular interest is the 200 year old spice cake recipe from a friends Great-great Grandmother. There are so many wonderful recipes for chicken, beef, seafood, and of course crawfish. Also, lots of delicious, unusual desserts.

You will love this book, and I suspect will be wanting more for gifts. From my family to yours-Bon Apetite!!
